Your Dental Team

Congratulations! By teaming up with your General Dentist and your Periodontist, you will ensure and protect your dental health.

Your General Dentist is primarily responsible for your overall dental health, including such needs as:

  • new or recurrent cavities
  • changes in fillings
  • crowns
  • bridges.

It is important that you continue regular visits to your General Dentist.

Your General Dentist has determined that your gums require special care and has referred you to us, your Periodontist. By referring you to a Periodontist, your Dentist is showing a strong commitment to optimal dental care. Your Periodontal appointments are not meant to take the place of regular visits to your General Dentist.

Your dental team will keep each other informed of your personal dental history, periodontal health, maintenance care, and additional dental needs. The newest dental technology and latest techniques will be shared by your Professional Team.

Remember, the most important part of the team is you. Your interest, participation, and commitment are essential in making your treatment a success. With prompt treatment, proper home care, and regular dental visits to your General Dentist, the great majority of patients can have their teeth last a lifetime!
